Alison Wright (born in England) is an English actress. Her most famous role was Martha Hanson in the FX the spy-themed period series The Americans. She received not only praise from critics but also nominations for a Primetime Emmy Award for this. The actress also played Bette & Joan & Hollywood in Ryan Murphy's limited series Feud. Wright was a Sunderland birthplace, born on 12th July 1976. She began dancing and acting at a young age. Her education was at New York City's Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute as well as The Barrow Group. The waitressing gig was cut short with auditions for roles in various parts. Her great passion, scuba and diving, put her in an insanity when diving at sea, she experienced a cardiac arrest. The family of her friend flew in to help her in the hospital six days after her death. Wright was born on 12 July 1976 within Sunderland, Tyne and Wear in the area where she was fostered by adopted parents. She began dancing and acting at a young age. She was educated at New York City at The Barrow Group and The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. Alison Fesq Haislip is an American actress who was a former TV personality for Attack of the Show! in the initial incarnation of the G4 network as well as The Voice, the NBC reality competition program The Voice.
