Sutton Foster is an award-winning actor, singer and dancer who has performed in 11 Broadway shows - most recently the revival of Violet - and originated parts in Broadway productions including The Drowsy Chaperone, Little Women, Young Frankenstein, Shrek The Musical, and the Tony Award-winning roles on Anything Goes and Thoroughly Modern Millie. Star Search was her first television appearance when she was just the age of fifteen. Then she appeared in Bunheads and Psych as well as Johnny and the Sprites and Flight of the Conchords. Sutton Foster has toured the U.S. and around the world in a duo with Michael Rafter. She performed songs from "Wish" which was her debut solo album, as well as her second CD, "An evening With Sutton Foster: live at Caf Carlyle". In 2011, she earned an Honorary Doctorate in the form of an honorary doctorate from Ball State University where she also is on faculty as a teacher and advisor for the Department of Theatre and Dance. The actress has been on the show TV Land's "Younger" which was created by Darren Star, since March 2015.
