The most glamorous of careers often hide many a sad story beneath. Lolo, who won the USA and the World championships in hurdle events in 2013, has only been able to achieve this level by putting in a lot of hard work and a lot of patience. Jones had a difficult childhood because she was the sole child of a mother within a large household. The mother of Jones moved around constantly and lived for a time in the basement of the church. Jones was required to go to the same high school each year because of her nomadic upbringing. Jones left her mother and moved to Theodore Roosevelt in order for her to focus on her track interest.
